Montreal - July 24, 2020
Info-Crime Montreal in collaboration with PDQ 35 of the SPVM held a prevention session for cyclists on July 22 in the Rosemont-Petite Patrie borough.
During the activity, which will have lasted about two hours at the intersection of Bellechasse and Boyer street, the SPVM bicycle patroller Victor Quiroz and the socio-community agent Marie-Josée Blais as well as two bicycle cadets will have had the opportunity to interact with many cycling citizens.
It should be noted that the growth of the cycling network in Montreal increasingly favors the movement of citizens by bicycle and the police must ensure that users are made aware of good practices. On that day, as they passed the intersection, users of the bicycle corridor had the chance to receive some important safety advice and also to obtain information on the community program Info-Crime Montreal. The event went very well to the delight of Info-Crime Montreal CEO Jean Touchette present for the occasion. In addition, to make the prevention session even more fun, cyclists who wished received a free bike seat cover bearing the effigy of Info-Crime.
Thank you to the entire PDQ 35 team for holding the event and its success.
